Saskatoon, SK: Today, Saskatoon Airport Authority (SAA) welcomes Susan Milburn as the new Chair of the Board of Directors and Kaylynn Schroeder as the Board Vice-Chair. The Saskatoon Airport Authority is also pleased to announce the nomination of Barbara Crowe to its Board of Directors.
Additionally, today the Board announced the retirement of long-standing Board member David Weger, who has served on the Board for nine years. “We are grateful for Dave’s commitment and direction,” says Stephen Maybury, President and CEO of YXE Saskatoon Airport. “Dave has devoted a significant amount of time and effort to our Board, especially during the last three years as Chair, in which he helped navigate the Corporation through the Covid-19 pandemic and recovery. We deeply appreciate his leadership and will greatly miss his expertise.”
The nomination of Ms. Crowe to the Board was made public today by David Weger at the Annual Public Meeting. Ms. Crowe was nominated by the City of Saskatoon and replaces David Weger.
“We are pleased to welcome Ms. Crowe to our Board,” states Susan Milburn, newly appointed Board Chair. “She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the travel industry and will be an invaluable asset to the Board as we further the Saskatoon Airport Authority’s vision to be Canada’s most valued airport experience.”
