Tara Reichert

The Rural Municipality of Corman Park No. 344

Tara received her Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan. She is registered to practice engineering in both Saskatchewan and British Columbia.

She has 17 years experience in providing structural engineering services in the building sector. Tara was a partner in JC Kenyon Engineering and has recently started a consulting engineering practice, Levity Engineering & Consulting. Her past project experience as a lead structural engineer includes: West River Landing Development, Dakota Dunes Hotel and a variety of different procurement methods including fast track, design build and traditional design-bid-build.

She is an active volunteer at the University of Saskatchewan at the College of Engineering and served as a sessional lecturer for the fourth-year course “Design of Reinforced Concrete.” Since 2007, she has volunteered with the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies | Saskatchewan in a variety of capacities including special procurement task force and as a member of the board of directors.

Tara co-founded Female Engineers, Architects and Technologists (FEAT) after recognizing there was a need in our community for women in minority engineering and related technical fields to casually connect and converse with one another. FEAT currently has 200 members.
