Brian Heinrichs is a Partner in Assurance and Advisory Services with Virtus Group LLP in Saskatoon.
With over 20 years of public practice experience, Brian has been focused on audit and financial reporting throughout his career and works with numerous financial institutions, private companies, and not-for-profit organizations throughout Saskatchewan.
Brian holds a Chartered Professional Accountant designation, a Chartered Accountant designation and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Winnipeg. Brian also facilitates Board training in the areas of governance and risk management. Brian is a member of the firm’s Best Practices Committee (Chair) and Audit Services Group, as well as the Allinial Global Canadian National Standards Committee, and was involved with marking and content development of the national exam for the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada for 16 years. Brian previously served for six years on the Board of a private post-secondary college, including terms as Board Chair and Chair of the Audit and Finance committee.
