At YXE, we’re proud to support family travel with fun and engaging spaces for kids of all ages.

 

Little Flyers Play Zone

Post-Security, Near Gate 9

Let imaginations take off in our full-sized aviation-themed play space featuring:

  • Wingston the Plane – a kid-sized aircraft to climb and explore
  • Nav Canada Air Traffic Control Tower Replica – inspired by YXE Saskatoon Airport’s own air traffic control tower
  • Runway-Inspired Flooring – based on the actual runway layout at YXE

It’s the perfect spot for younger travellers to play and burn off energy before boarding.

 

Kid Zones Throughout the Terminal

Keep the fun going with more kid-friendly spots, all post-security:

  • Gate 1 – Seek-and-find wall activity
  • Gate 3 – Canada-themed play table
  • Gate 5 – Interactive motion projector (“push to play”)

Whether it’s climbing, discovering, or exploring the skies in their own way, kids (and parents) will find YXE a little more enjoyable.

You love kids? So do we! Working with Child Friendly Saskatoon, children gave us their feedback on what they want to see at YXE Saskatoon Airport and we listened. A toddler focused aviation play centre is located pre-security and three play areas are located post-security on the second floor. 

The kids area near gate 4 includes a ‘push to play’ interactive projector that will help use of any of the energy that you (or your kids) need to get rid of before a long flight.
