Saskatoon, SK– In cooperation with local mutual aid partners, YXE Saskatoon Airport is conducting a full-scale live emergency exercise, in accordance with Canadian Aviation Regulations on the morning of September 12, 2024.
YXE Saskatoon Airport has partnered with Saskatoon Police Service, Saskatoon Fire Services, Saskatoon EMO, Medavie Health Services West, Nav Canada, and Air Canada to carry out a controlled exercise in a controlled area on part of runway 15/33.

The emergency exercise will take place in a fully contained area on one of two runways at the airport, ensuring there is no impact to regular airport operations. Airport representatives, signage and announcements will be present throughout the drill to ensure that regular passengers are aware of the exercise.
