Rish Malhotra is a seasoned technology executive and board director with over 20 years of global leadership experience across engineering, finance, and advanced technology industries. He has led organizations through periods of transformation and scale, driving profitable growth, market expansion, and long-term value creation in complex, regulated environments.
Previously, Rish served as President & CEO of International Road Dynamics Inc. (IRD). Under his leadership, IRD delivered cutting-edge technologies that improved mobility, safety, and sustainability in transportation networks worldwide. His career also includes leadership roles in commercial banking at the Bank of Montreal and other high-technology industries.
A Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with an MBA from the Edwards School of Business, Rish also holds the Institute of Corporate Directors designation (ICD.D) from the Rotman School of Management. A recognized leader in the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) industry, he currently serves on the boards of ITS Canada, the International Society for Weigh-in-Motion, and other industry organizations. His board experience extends to Crown corporations, private and not-for-profit organizations. In recognition of his contributions to business, he was awarded The Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Rish enjoys exploring the world with his wife Ritu, and daughters Riah and Reva, blending a love for travel with a deep curiosity for diverse cultures.
