Rish Malhotra is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of global leadership experience in engineering, finance, and technology industries. As Executive Vice President, Global Strategic Growth at Rekor Systems, a leader in AI-driven roadway intelligence and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Rish spearheads strategic initiatives to expand market presence, accelerate profitable growth, and enhance shareholder value.
Previously, Rish served as President & CEO of International Road Dynamics Inc. (IRD). Under his leadership, IRD delivered cutting-edge technologies that improved mobility, safety, and sustainability in transportation networks worldwide. His career also includes leadership roles in commercial banking at the Bank of Montreal and other high-technology industries.
A Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with an MBA from the Edwards School of Business, Rish holds the Institute of Corporate Directors designation (ICD.D) from the Rotman School of Management. A recognized leader in the ITS industry, he currently serves on the boards of ITS Canada, the International Society for Weigh-in-Motion, and other industry organizations. His board experience extends to Crown corporations and not-for-profit organizations. In recognition of his contributions to business, he was awarded The Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal.
